I was first introduced to photography at 11 years of age when my Dad bought me a Halina Paulette camera for my birthday. Now...54 years on...I still enjoy taking photos especially as I have a bit more time after retiring 3 and half years ago.
I have tried a few genres including portrait, scenery, macro and wildlife photography which has been my main passion for the last 7 years.  I love to get out and about and enjoy the wonders of nature and have the benefits of the exercise, happiness and relaxation especially good for clearing the mind.  I have recently worked more on post processing to challenge myself in improving the fieldwork results...there are some fantastic digital enhancing programmes to be utilised.
Onwards and upwards in this wonderful hobby.
