My photography journey has been bumpy with lots of starting and stopping. My initial interest was sparked when I was given a 110 film cartridge camera in my early teenage years before upgrading to 35mm with a couple of Yashica bodies (FXD and the 103 I think).
I was snap-happy and remember coming home from holiday in California with 27 rolls of 36 shot films to have developed which at the time was expensive, especially as only a few were any good! Life got in the way and my time with the camera waned but digital has reignited my interest and I now try to get out much more with holidays built around photography locations.
I have a wide range of interests, but do favour night time and long exposure photography but would love to try portraiture/studio work.
I am hoping to retire soon which will allow me more time to learn and enhance my knowledge and whilst I do prefer to let camera do as much of the work as possible I want to spend time learning some more editing skills.
