A bit about me. I have always had an interest in photography and I got my 'proper' big girl camera about 10 years ago and have been trying to learn ever since.
I shoot with a Canon EOS 1100D and tend to use a zoom lens so I can get in close to the subject. I still find myself shooting in auto as I don't like missing a shot.
I love photographing wildlife and my picture of the barn owl (although not brilliant) is one of my most treasured and was taken in lockdown last year in a field just by the airport. I like action shots and arty shots. the pictures I have included are over a 10 year period.
I am married with a lively 7 year old son who likes taking pictures too (with his KiddiZoom!) . My husband does off road trialling and racing hence a few pics of cars. It took me ages to find 6 pictures that I thought were "good" enough (I am my own biggest critic). I have known our beloved founder for around 40 years! and this is how I heard about the club.
