My photography journey started in the early 80s when a work colleague gave me an old Zenit camera. I then bought myself a Pentax 35mm, I looked for a course to get to know how to use it and learned quite a lot.
A very good friend asked me to do his wedding photos which I refused at the time, but after some persuasion I agreed to do it with no guarantees, it was quite a worrying time waiting for the shots coming back from the printers but they were good.
I eventually moved over to a DSLR on to a Minolta GX10, I now have a Canon 70D and a Sony A7.
I generally take Landscape photos, I have done around 20 weddings [Very Hard Work!]
I am wanting to try different aspects of photography and looking forward to meeting all the members at the club and learning from each and everyone.
