Like many people my interest in photography over the years was limited to a few holiday snaps initially with a Minolta film camera but also an early Minolta digital camera.
When I retired I became more interested in photography as a hobby and for Christmas 2017 my wife bought me a used digital camera. This was a Sony a58 which meant I could use the Minolta lenses that I had from my film cameras, Sony having bought out Minolta around 2006. I still shoot Sony having upgraded initially to an a77ii and then earlier this year an a7Riii.
I am interested in all genres of photography although I have never done any people or studio photography, I also have an interest in using vintage manual lenses on modern cameras.
I just enjoy getting out and about with my camera, preferably with other like-minded people.
