Interest in Photography – How it has come about
I got into photography few years ago due to my life changing experience, turned out to be a Malignant Brain Tumour which required complicated surgery. Recovery period was very tough, but survival was very important, hence photography and its role in my life change.
My first Camera was ‘Fuji Finepix F450’. This little camera helped me in my recovery.
My current Cameras are Nikon and Panasonic.
Now into the exciting World of Photography
Image of ‘Fine Art – Ortho Building’ won National Competition 2021. Winning image has been in “Digital Camera, World Magazine”, also on ‘Vanguard World UK’ Website.
Creative image of ‘UNICEF – Salts Mill’ got ‘Honourable Mention’ at Toronto Gallery, Canada, 86 Countries took part in the competition. Few of my other images have been in International Exhibitions at New York Gallery, China and in most prestigious Sir Jahangir Gallery in India, where Bollywood film stars were invited to open the exhibition.
My style of photography is wide and varied. It’s my attempt to learn new skills all the time.
I am also the main voluntary photographer for the ‘Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity’.
Shipley Camera Club is an exciting and great new club to join.
